The graphics are impressive, with the cartoon skydiver descending from the bobbing helicopter. As the skydiver falls, fluffy white clouds rush past. The audio doesn’t match as well, but it’s not annoying. You can turn sounds off if you choose.

To play this crash game, start by selecting your bet. Feel free to go up to the $100 max bet. Once you’ve made your decision using the up and down arrows (50 cent increments) or +$1, $5, $10, or $25 buttons, click the green “Place Bet” button. That sets you up to play the next round.

We opted for a safer $1 bet and got started. Most of the time, you had to deploy your parachute before 2.18x. It did go as high as 37.65x during our time spent playing Ripcord Rush. Timing is everything.

Betting Strategies in Ripcord Rush

Keep your bets low for this game. It doesn’t take skill, but it does take fast fingers on the mouse button. We tend to be careful and avoid waiting too long. Winning 50 cents is better than waiting and losing it all.

You can select “Auto Cash Out” and always have the computer activate your parachute when the multiplier reaches the preset amount. This is a handy way to play if you end up having to walk away from the game temporarily for something like letting a dog out or answering a call.
